LaGrange's McGreal promoted to associate head coach

David McGreal has been promoted to the position of of Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach.  McGreal has been on the coaching staff since head coach Kendal Wallace arrived.

"This is a well deserved and certainly earned promotion.  David is a tireless worker and an exceptional recruiter." Wallace said. "He is capable of managing his own basketball program and our Panther program benefits greatly because he is on our staff.  We are very grateful to have him here at LaGrange College."

McGreal currently works as an admissions counselor, intramural director and coach at LaGrange. In admissions, the college saw its largest freshman class in the history of the school this incoming fall with 270 students.  Of these 270, 54 of those students are from Florida, which is McGreal's region, up from 21 last year.  As Intramural Director, McGreal has added many new opportunities for student involvement such as video game tournaments, volleyball, dodge ball, and fantasy football along with the college intramural staples flag football, basketball, and softball.   

In the summer of 2013, McGreal received his Master of Arts degree in Education from LaGrange College.  He now sits on the QEP Study Away Committee, and is a member of the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars (GACRAO), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC)
organizations. 

McGreal is also a member of National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as well as the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association (GABCA) organizations for basketball coaches.
