Who's in? Here's our takes

NCAA playoff projections

Will all four ODAC teams get in, when it's all said and done? Will we see multiple NJAC teams for the first time in years? Will more CCIW teams make the tournament or NESCAC teams?

Those are the questions we answer in D3hoops.com's annual men's basketball playoff projections, and just posted, D3hoops.com's annual women's basketball playoff projections

&&g-boxr&&The quiet week in terms of men's upsets made for a more difficult projection process. It's actually easier when more good teams lose, because they can be fairly easily put into the field. But not so this time.

Our playoff projections, with an actual bracket format for ease of understanding. If you missed Saturday's day of Division III action, scroll down.

In Sunday's men's finals, Mary Hardin-Baylor defeated Texas-Dallas 80-70 in a match-up of the ASC's top teams from the west and east respectively. We project the Comets will make the tournament even with the loss, but someone else will lose an at-large bid. Williams continued its roll by beating Middlebury 64-56. Franklin and Marshall fought off Gettysburg 66-62 to wrap up the Centennial Conference title. Clark defeated WPI 74-68 to win the men's NEWMAC championship. The Cougars were the five seed, which is the lowest of any team to win an automatic bid. Centre made the men's projections stand up by beating DePauw for the SCAC title. Check out Sunday's men's scores.

In women's action, McDaniel upended Muhlenberg 72-56 to win the Centennial Conference title. The Mules will need an at-large bid to the tournament, which will burst someone else's bubble. Louisiana College outlasted McMurry 73-67 in overtime to win the ASC. Farmingdale State won the rubber match against Mount St. Mary in the Skyline championship. More women's scores from Sunday.
