Division III basketball players and students alike are returning to school this week, and to you we say, welcome!

D3hoops.com is in the midst of a redesign and other interesting things in preparation for the 2007-08 season, which will be our 10th in its current form and under current management. As such, we have a few retrospectives to bring your way over the course of the next couple of months, including the D3hoops.com All-Decade team. The teams, which cover both men's and women's basketball, will feature the top players from 1998-2007, in our traditional form -- five teams of two guards, two forwards and a center.

We've been collecting schedules and will be posting them before the end of the month. We've made an effort this year to make sure all times remain Eastern, so when you look at a daily scoreboard page, you know that 7:30 means 7:30, and not 8:30 or 10:30.

Our partners at D3Scoreboard.com have brought even more conferences into their fold, so we'll have timely updates from schools in even more leagues -- up to 18 of the 41 all-sports conferences at last count. And we'll have even more news in October and November than in previous years as we lead up to tipoff of Division III's 34th championship season.
